Roche-Bobois Exhibition
| June 1st - December 01st, 2004
Roche-Bobois is very pleased to present Couleur Café,
an innovative exhibition reflecting recent work by artist
and sculptor Judith Benguigui. The exhibit provides dynamic
insight into the spirit of the artist who resides in Brussels,
striving when she paints to create something that is “harmonious,
lively and positive.”
Free and open to the public, this exhibit features a unique
style developed by Benguigui, whose work has been presented
in European galleries and most recently in Amities-Expo
2004 at the Residence de France in Los Angeles. According
to Benguigui, her typical approach is to use heavy strokes
in oil or acrylic, often utilizing knife to create depth.
With this event Benguigui showcases her fascination with
color and movement.
Judith Benguigui’s works will be exhibited at Roche-Bobois,
8850 Beverly Boulevard – Los Angeles, CA, for six
months starting Tuesday June 1st.
The exhibition features 26 paintings and 4 sculptures.
